No plans for Favre reinstatement

With Brett Favre potentially headed back to an even chillier reception than the below-zero conditions in his last game at Lambeau Field, the next step in the iconic quarterback's plan to maneuver his way out of ...

I hope they release you so you can play somewhere else.....You're a football legend and the GM did you WRONG in my opinion.

All things being equal, if these were the Super Bowl years, instead of 2008, none of this would be happening. I love watching Brett prove, TIME AND TIME AGAIN, that he still has the gas tank near full, can still take busted plays and turn them into yards/scores gained. Question, and I ask this in earnest: WHAT are TT's football qualifications, anyway? One mistake after another? Eventually, he might get it right? Gee, does he wish he could get Ron Wolf on the phone to ask him how to handle this? Say whatever you like about Brett Favre, you fair-weather fans who won't rally to BF's side, but DON'T blame BF just because he happens to be a player who knows more about football than management. Unbelievable. The Packer faithful, sitting back, watching this nonsense get worse by the minute. I'm willing to bet all you 'fans' will shout to the rafters about how this 'should' have been avoided, once your lack of action and voice on the issue allows BF and the Pack to get so far apart as to never be able to reconcile. Happy Now, idiots?

I agree with you River Veteran, Ted should dump the whiner on anyone dumb enough to take him.

As for you Gabe, when in the hell did Brett show he still has it? In the Dallas game, the 2nd Bears game, or in the finale against the Giants? Remember "old and cold" sitting on the bench by himself with a hand warmer pressed to his face, while young Eli was on the other sideline cheering on his teammates?

You've got the wrong QB Gabe. I think Eli is your kind of player.
