Hold the bus on this deal. The Cubs have not made the proper investment to win this year. Give this deal time and the Cubs will revert to form. They will be third or forth this year in their division behind the Brewers and St. Louis. The Brewers invested in pitching and they will make the playoffs. The Cubs are exciting, but Fukidome is Done. The blister on Woods finger makes him "iffy" at best. Why buy the team at a premium when a few months could see a bargain? Mr. Cuban, if you are listening, I'd love to work for you. I could retire off the money you can save here. Chicago is hot because of Obama, but don't forget this is Chicago. The Cubs will fall to 3rd or 4th.
