You know there is a name for EXCREMENT that send letters to the editor without a signature, I would assume the same name holds for this situation.
C'mon Marlins Fan, Are you as spineless as certain Marlins with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs??? C'mon, sportswriters sign tneir names. You're as tough as they are?? Get your nose out of that supporter and show this forum some guts!! Man you are garbage!!!
Tell the truth, little Marlin Memorabalia Den at home?? Bret Barberie pop Up Doll on the bed?? An autograph book signed by Pose, Santiago and Rich Renteria?/
How does a gutless idiot like you stand yourself??
Marlins fan tried to pick me up in his old beat up truck like the GREEN RIVER KILLER but I smell fermenting beans inside the cabin and not just genital crabs crawling on that man but they were so big they looked like cuttle fish. Stay away, I think he is the pick up truck that I saw that the Loria clan uses to stash away the revenue sharing money in a gator hole near Belle Glade.

God help us if an idiot like you reproduces. You are so pathetic, what is your bad joke of today. Are you going to call Fredi, Fredo - oh you are so funny. Or are you going to say Hermida belongs in high school baseball. That is a good one, too! Pathetic.

I agree about Hermida, and Willingham has been terrible since he returned from injury, but all-star Uggla's going in the record books and Jacobs has been hot as a pistol. A little over dramatic Lou.

Jacobs has hit some home runs and driven in runs since the break, which Buddha knows they need, but his OBP is still one of the most anemic in baseball and his fielding - like in tonight's (8/14) game - is still pretty bad. All of his RBIs still amount to a team playing roughly **** 500 ball. I suspect that if he hit fewer home runs but got on base more often and scored more runs, and moved runners along a lot better than he does, the team's record would be somewhat better. I'd be interested to see his overall RISP batting average and suspect it won't look good. Same goes for all the guys who seem to have become human windmills since the break. Is that Fredi Gonzalez in the dugout, or is it really Sancho Panza?

Marlins Fan: a little suggestion. If you don't like Lou's style of humor, ignore it. These little verbal dysentery attacks of yours are getting tedious. Since you miss two thirds of it anyway, you might as well go find some more obvious posts to read - or at the very least, let's see some comments that are as specifically addressed to the game in question or show a modicum of the effort Lou expends to look up stats, instead of all these sour diatribes of yours.

Why does Handly get on first and then wait for the double play ball? He is up against a cather that throws out no more than 25% and he just stands there and doesn't even play off to draw a throw! Just wait a few pitches and there you go, another double play! I thought he was supposed to be able to steal. I think any average guy on a well coached team can steal 29 bases! At least against the cather last night, one should be able to steal! I would rather see him thrown out stealing than the all to common, double play that he should know is comming! WHY IS COLE PORTER STILL COACHING THIRD?

His name is Hanley, not Handly and the guy behind the plate is a catcher, not a cather.

Marlins Fan: why not stash the gratuitous insults and answer the question Old Pro has posed? It's a perfectly legitimate question and seems to me the more important issue than his typos.

In order to choke, they would have to be the favorites.

For example:
"The 1983 Nebraska Cornhuskers were called the "Team of the Century", yet on the field of play against the Miami Hurricanes, they lost in what has been considered one of the greatest chokes in history, by going for 2 when an extra point gives them the National Championship."

See how the word "choke" was correctly used there, "Matt"?
