I almost got it at that intersection. Southbound traffic is used to a long run of restricted access; this is where it ends. Cross traffic has to negotiate past four lanes of high speed traffic, plus a left turn lane off the southbound side.

We be in the city now...

April, please don't take it personal. Some people on the Topix, in any city, not just El Paso, can be rude and heartless, and they think they are funny. I hope your dad is ok. This newspaper rarely does any follow-up so we haven't heard how he is doing. I'd like to hear if the trucker was cited or lost his CDL.

Last we heard he was not cited for anything, the unofficial report (they had not finished everything when we got it) stated that yes the trucker failed to yeild the right of way but states that no citations were given. As far as how my dad is, he is still in critical condition and is hanging on as best he can.
