Tues. I am very glad to get out of this dog-hating hole. I am making progress and making people mad. I am not intending to do tht hand-in hand but I am anyway. I had chest pains two days when I saw that chow on a short chain with no water. Needless to say, my business will go elsewhere from now on and the owner in California will be called Wed. to let him know what is going on behind his camera. a wounded dog living in broken glass and mud. I fed him,bathed him,got a new chain,collar and will be hopefully taking him to The Animal House in Ocho Rios. I really can't believe they think I can just turn my head. Up the road is Jakes with a rescue well cared for dog. I have eaten all my meals there. If people won't listen hit the pocketbook.Maybe a mustard will sprout later like it did at a Korean spa in norcross, Ga. Another story and a cat who is king of that spa.

Well, you hang in there. I have really been thinking about you, knowing how rough it must be for you to watch the abuse and so very little you can do about it. I hope you can take the dog to the Animal House, it will be such a load off your mind. I'm telling you, it is tough to be an animal lover and travel to other countries. Spain, I understand is really on the lower rungs in regard to animal welfare. I think the dogs and cats in these countries should be rounded up and taken away. If they can't or won't treat them any better than that, they don't DESERVE to have domesticated animals. One day, I dream of a safe place for all animals. Anyway, my heart goes out to you and the animals you see suffering there.

Well there are small concerted efforts. I actually met a couple here who knew the people fro Animal House. the couple owns a nice resturant and everyone says how thye do small things to help them. Those small efforts can grow.
