LaRon Landry could be sidelined at least another week as he continues to rehab a hamstring injury.

With training camp nearly over, Redskins players were feeling frisky yesterday morning.

Rogers underwent season-ending knee surgery in November and was expected to miss about a year, but he has been impressive in practice. He was cleared for full contact a few weeks ago and has withstood a few accidental collisions in practices, including popping up after tangling with wide receiver Maurice Mann in practice yesterday.

Well, 11 guys were on the field every play, Jim Zorn said. His team committed four penalties for 30 yards -- no small feat in a first preseason game, never mind the first game for a first-time head coach.

Shawn Springs is expected to start at free safety in Saturday night's preseason game against the Buffalo Bills.
