Calf Injury Sidelines Springs for Fourth Straight Game
Cornerback Shawn Springs missed his fourth straight game with a torn calf muscle, unable to recover in time to face the team for which his father used to play. Springs said throughout the week that he believed he would play last night against Dallas, but his calf has not healed yet, and he estimated he was at roughly 60 percent over the weekend.
Springs did make some strides late in the week. He was originally slated for individual drills on Friday, but ended up taking some reps with the first-team defense and also warmed up last night.

Golston Staying Focused After Breakthrough Game
Defensive tackle Kedric Golston is coming off his best game of the season in Sunday's 14-11 victory over the Cleveland Browns, but the young lineman is far from satisfied.
