Dark Knight' sets box office record with $66.4M

I watched this movie on Friday afternoon. It totally lives up to the hype and expectations. I plan on seeing it again, because the action and suspense scenes come relentlessly. I'm sure some of the story got by me. You'll be exhausted at the end - but in a good way.

Easily the best movie of the year (or last several years) by far. For comparison, it matches up with "Lord of the Rings - Return of the King" in quality, acting and overall effects.

The movie wasn't THAT good. It was a little too noisy.

Heath Ledger was great though. I still can't believe that he's gone.

Keep the Batman movies.

Great movie. I loved the line when the Joker said he was an agent of chaos. I busted out laughing and no one could figure out why.

i thought Bale was average and his bat-voice distracting. The movie was ok not great. Ledger was very very good but no Jack Nicholsen. Had he been able to mature as actor--he may have had a chance.

dude you obviously don't know your comics. The question is a hero, not the riddler. I am sure that if he ment the Riddler he would name himself The Riddler.The movie was EPIC! I am a huge comic book fan and I had nothing to dispute about the moive. It matched the comics perfectly. By the way, that joker performance was the best that there ever has been. The other Jokers sucked, majorly but Ledger nailed it. Hell if I didn't know any better I would swear that Ledger from brokeback mt. could never pull off Joker. The movie had everything a fan could ask for. A million times better than the Adam West series from the 60's that basically ruined any chance of Batman being taken serious from quite some time.

I laugh when people say he was "no Jack Nicholsen". Can you please point out what was better about Mr. Nicholson's performance?

why so serious i loved this line..heath ledger was awesome as the joker .heath was such a great actor and he is truly missed rip

An OK movie. Not great. Not bad.

Ledger's performance wasn't all that impressive. Anyone can play crazy. He certainly doesn't come close to capturing evil nearly as convincingly as did Javier Bardem in 'No Country for Old Men'.
